WINTER READING PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS

Kindergarten-2nd Grade

Compete the following to be entered into weekly drawings and a grand prize drawing in March.

Read or listen to 10 books and complete 3 of the 6 challenges.

  • Check out a DVD, board game, or puzzle
  • Shop at a locally owned business
  • Spend 30 minutes outside
  • Send someone a card
  • Pick up some litter
  • Try a new recipe/food

1 entry = 10 books read and 3 of the 6 activities completed

3rd-5th Grade

Complete the following to be entered into weekly drawings and a grand prize drawing in March.

Read or listen to books for a total of 80 minutes and complete 3 of the 6 challenges.

  • Check out a DVD, board game, or puzzle
  • Shop at a locally owned business
  • Spend 30 minutes outside
  • Send someone a card
  • Pick up some litter
  • Try a new recipe/food

    1 entry = 80 minutes read and 3 of the 6 activities

Adults and Teens

Complete the following to be entered into weekly drawings and a grand prize drawing in March.

Read or listen to ONE book and complete 3 of the 6 challenges.

  • Check out a DVD, board game, or puzzle
  • Shop at a locally owned business
  • Spend 30 minutes outside
  • Send someone a card
  • Pick up some litter
  • Try a new recipe/food
