Purpose of Meeting
Livingston Hospital Deaconess Kentucky Partner will be at the library providing information about PTSD and a free screening. Stop by to see Teresa and Joy from New Beginnings to say hi. They will bring snacks and other goodies.
June is PTST awareness month (Post-Traumatic Stree Disorder)
PTSD is:
-A normal reaction to an abnormal situation
-A mental injury NOT an illness
-Caused by any trauma (child abuse, violent crimes, war, disasters)
-Treatable with a trained mental health professional
